Desensitized? Sure. Not that I am a cold-blooded robot, or a crypto monk who is unaffected by dopamine surges. I just got tired. tired of the circus: headline, charts, the "BREAKING: panic" and "URGENT: euphoria" news cycles. Investor sentiment has become a toggle switch - turn it on, FOMO, turn it off, FUD, repeat.
The more you spend time in these waters, the more you understand: Bitcoin has value in every line of code, in every block, and in how the network stays together without anyone needing permission. Freedom. Time. The cycles are mere noise. Look at the signal, the hard cap, the consensus, the inability to print more just because you are bored. That is what I anchor to.
Does that mean I never feel anxious? Please. I am a human. Once in a while, I see the candlesticks and my lizard brain twitches. Sell? Buy? Run? But then, i breathe, stop, context: what has changed? Block by block, same math, same rules. The news does not tie my freedom. My resolve is layered: time, study, conversation, scars from dumb trades.
Human beings are not desensitized, but they are made realistic. You are reacting to everything, and then you realize this is the play they want. That is how control works: not through information, but through how you respond to it. Most never graduate from the noise. Others learn to silence it. Fewer build with it.
Hang around long enough and you will find yourself reading the same stories with different faces, same desire to dominate, same devices of fear, of hope. The real immunity? It is not about avoiding news it is about knowing the purpose of the broadcast. Who wants you impulsive? How come this cycle keeps on repeating itself?
