Every time I check on some bitcoin news, it is always countries and their new decisions that I see. Country A has reached a new high amount of bitcoin but country B has reduced bitcoin mining activities to preserve energy use. While Country C is still indecisive about how to use bitcoin. But the point now is that bitcoin is the talk of town or rather the world. I have lost count of how many countries have been discussing bitcoin and making moves. Not every country is making positive moves, but I still see that most are going towards the positive direction.
At some point, the news of bitcoin from every country will wear its novelty don't you think? There will come a time where a country announcing they will be buying and using bitcoin will be the norm.
I'm not so sure there are a big number of countries openly discussing Bitcoin or
commenting positively. I do believe though that the vast majority of countries will
at some point in the future have Bitcoin 'on their books' but ATM most IMO are
not getting involved.
If it wasnt for Trump pre and post election I'm not sure these conversations
about countries 'adopting' Bitcoin
Sure Trump has made a huge impact on cryptocurrency and bitcoin, and introduced it to the whole universe. And after that, thats when we start seeing different countries become open about bitcoin, while others have remained to keep a space from bitcoin.
However, lets be realistic here, these countries will eventually think of becoming open to bitcoin in the next months or years. Not because other countries are going in, but because their own citizens themselves have gained trust into bitcoin, and they cant do nothing to stop it.
