This is in line with the time when bitcoin had not reached the massive adoption it is now and certain countries were still having a hard time deciding their steps and some other countries viewed bitcoin with a negative perception. But as time went by changes started to emerge and most countries started considering bitcoin as a strategic step for backup. This shows a new direction in the journey of bitcoin because according to the facts, more and more countries are starting to consider widespread adoption.

Almost all countries have started taking positive steps for Bitcoin, even though it is only in the planning category, and if we look further, there are many countries that are currently starting to make policies regarding the Bitcoin journey itself, both open utilization through strategic reserves and indirect support from efforts that have been considered.

Bitcoin is sure the digital gold of our time as everybody now want to acquire it despite the price. Countries have now seen that bitcoin is truly valuable and worth accumulating and we will keep seeing more countries buy bitcoins. I know that some countries will still be thinking that one day bitcoin will crash that is why they haven't really shown interest but when they begin to see their neighboring countries buying and holding bitcoin, they will have no option than to buy as well. hats off to those country who have already bought bitcoins and still buying more.

Bitcoin is definitely dominating the news in terms of countries buying and holding. Just this year, we have seen so many countries develop interest in Bitcoin with some planning to setup Bitcoin strategic reserve. Even dominate enterprises are not left out in this and it is just getting started. Like some people already suggested, very soo we might see countries and cooperations racing to stock up Bitcoin and the measure of smartness might even turn to how much Bitcoin such bodies hold as reserve.

I think that’s every country will be heading to. Imagine if majority of the countries will start to buy and hold bitcoin, then I don’t think those countries who are in denial of accumulating bitcoin want to be left out. For sure they will also study hard why bitcoin ends up very crucial, until such time that they will also realize how high the potentials of bitcoin, that it turns out to be an asset of any country for its economic growth and progress, and ended up adopting bitcoin for good.

Governments are now realising that by restricting Bitcoin and other crypto's in the country is doing more harm to government then good that's why every government is forced to accept it. My country was very much against Bitcoin but now they have formed a council whose responsibility is to draft a regulation for crypto adoption. Sooner or later every government will accept it because their is no escape from this emerging financial system. If country like US has reviewed it's crypto policy then small countries have no reason to stay away from it.

 

I feel like we are still in the early days when it comes to Bitcoin.  Anytime a country even breathes a word about Bitcoin, it makes headlines.  But maybe one day if enough places start seriously adopting and creating real policies around crypto, it becomes no big deal.  It will be just as routine as announcing a new trade partnership or whatever and  could you imagine if one day a country buys some Bitcoin and nobody blinks an eye? That would be crazy - it would mean crypto made it and is just part of the normal financial world.  We are not there yet but a guy can dream I guess.

Bitcoin and crypto-related policies are probably on the low priority list of a government and since we are in the crypto forum we just highlight that news than anything because it affects the crypto's future in either a positive or a negative way.

Also I don't think we should give much attention to news about crypto unless you are a day trader that is when the price will be affected due to the news that can be used to make some money but in long run the growth is inevitable and that's how the bitcoin grown in all these years.

The thing is no matter how the situation changes their will still always be bitcoin in the market for us to buy and hold, but we are not also in competition with government as we can’t win against them if their is anything that we should do it’s to hold onto the little that we have individually and if their more funds to buy we should still continue to buy and add more to their holdings. Government are just trying to catch up with what they have missed all this years that they have been fighting against bitcoin.

Everything has its pros and cons. If Bitcoin becomes more stable and doesn't get dumped, it also means that its price won't spike as much as before. The less volatile Bitcoin is, the lower the returns, we cannot expect Bitcoin not to drop sharply but the price will always increase sharply, no financial market or asset works like that.

We don't invest in gold, stocks, bonds...and complain that they grow too slowly and give too little return. But now we expect bitcoin to become as stable and less volatile as those other assets. I don't know what people think, but I don't like bitcoin to be stable, I like volatility .
