Its because this bullrun is different, money concentrated and only going to bitcoin. We can simply see the inflow of BTC and compare it to ETH.

BTC inflow on ETF is several folds higher than ETH despite ETH supposedly in a bullrun after pectra upgrade.

The fact that institutional money has become the integral part of this bullrun, the main mover also means these money hardly gonna go to some random alts, probably just limited to altcoins with potential of being approved for its ETF proposal.

Overall, don't expect much from alt but focuses more on BTC.

Not only old altcoins but the whole crypto market depends on bitcoin, they will only increase when bitcoin increases.
The main reason why many people don't invest in altcoins is simply because they don't trust altcoins, they consider them junk and unreliable.


If we look at previous cycles, it would be incorrect to say that only bitcoin grew exponentially and altcoins did not. Usually, altcoins will give much better returns than bitcoin and that is why many people still invest in altcoins even though they are risky. But unfortunately, this can be considered a special bull cycle, where only bitcoin grows while the rest of the market does not.

Yes, altcoins are definitely worth investing in. But are there any altcoins that have surpassed the value of Bitcoin? An investor can invest in any currency. But I think it is better to invest in Bitcoin for confidence. There is no guarantee in altcoins. However, even if the price of Bitcoin decreases, there is a possibility of increasing at the end of the cycle. Investors never want their invested money to go to waste. So they always look for the best currency. At present, I do not see any better currency than Bitcoin.

What people don't understand is that you can not compare Bitcoin with those projects. Even if the price of Bitcoin is going up, there is a very high possibility that the price might not go up. This is all part of the reason people are always advised to invest in Bitcoin because it is the one driving the market. When you invest in Bitcoin, there is a higher chance of winning. It is better to go for the one that is winning.

There are other coins that aren't a bad idea, but at some point, you can strategize your own way of investing so you can do both bitcoin and altcoin, so we just need to know how to make useful of the information we have.

This has been the fact for long now, and it will continue to be the same because there are complete differences between them which we all know. The only reason I see that is tangible or comparing Bitcoin and Altcoin is because they are both cryptocurrencies, if not Bitcoin is completely different due it’s it’s decentralized nature and inability to be manipulated and it has always and will keep leading the crypto market.

Most altcoins can attain their All Time High anymore because if they can, they should have done that for long because Bitcoin that dumped to bellow $20k has regain itself and has attain another milestone and will keep going further, while I think Altcoins prices will just move a bit, I don’t think they can attain any all time high again so unless if we have altcoin sessions again which I don’t expect anytime soon due to the nature of this market.

Yes, it seems there is no more season for altcoins as there always used to be. If there were to be a season for altcoins by now, they should have risen to a certain price. In fact, the way altcoins were trying to pump when Bitcoin’s price was leading to $100k shows that all these altcoins like Ethereum, Solana, and BNB and others would not be at the same price now. So, I also think there will be no new ATHs  for most altcoins. In fact, even those altcoins that reached ATHs are mainly from projects that just launched, not over a long period.

But the reason many altcoins will not reach ATHs again is that people are now wiser. Many altcoins are just a game, and if someone isn’t smart enough, they will be the ones used to cash out big bags. Also, I think the main cause of these altcoins not having solid investors anymore is that it seems the same big investors and developers are behind many of these projects. So, there are no more big funds to pump and later dump the coins and the and average and small investors
in crypto industry are now wiser and prefer projects where the risks are more consider,so them are now investing bitcoin.

Speculation is as old as the hills. Every cycle, people including many bitcoiners want something to speculate upon. For some, the itch for the 100 bagger will always be there and each bull market, some part of the market will come up with the narrative and the product to satisfy it.

It is possible that a key reason, altcoin activity is rather subdued this year is that BTC Treasury companies are satisfying that itch. Many OGs are heavy in these plays and a lot of money being made by the insiders!

You made really good point Bitcoin is very different from other cryptocurrencies because it truly decentralized and can not be easily controlled which is why it stays strong and leads market mostly seen as digital gold.

While some altcoins might have brief surges many people doubt they will reach their past highest prices again anytime soon. This is because money tends to flow back to Bitcoin especially when market is uncertain and altcoins mostly struggle to grow unless they have real world uses and strong communities.

What do you expect from cheap priced altcoins but only low value assets that will eventually lose its value once a mishap hits the market, and turn them into dead altcoins once their value fail to recover anymore. That’s how risky altcoins are, you don’t know if they will still grow and create progress or will die eventually later on.

One thing that is very opposite to bitcoin. Although bitcoin is highly volatile and unpredictable, but the fact that it has already proven its high value and potentials in its previous years, then you won’t doubt it anymore that it will surely reach its new all time high.
