Given the new stands of governments in having to adopt Bitcoin for its reserves no matter the strategy used in building these strategic reserves for nations, it’s understandable why ETF would now see Bitcoin for an asset class and would want to use it unhedged for long term investing rather than spots. Even then, I’ve not been a big fan to these developments as, they could take profit once the drive sets in and it’s always in large quantities given that they many at times buy from a low.

The news though might prove beneficial for Bitcoin in the enlightenment of doubts, institutional investors will always have eyes on a huge profit margin.

They actually know what they have been doing and they also were aware that they are late comers so they have to compete with each other while they also have disadvantage than earlier comers including both retailed investors and institutional investors. Jn any market, there are buyers and sellers while about market makers, there are competition among them as well.

Bitcoin Spot ETFs have brought more institutional investors into this market and this levels up institutional competition in their Bitcoin accumulations since January 2024. It will certainly increase considerably in their competitiveness level in future when less bitcoins will appear in new supply from mining and new blocks while with more new investors, demand of accumulation will definitely soar over years and cycles.

Interesting & we’ll see that institutional conviction will only rise over time. Let’s remember that Bitcoin is only 16 years old & Spot Bitcoin ETFs have only been here since January 2024. More & more big companies will begin to hedge against currency debasement by allocating funds into Bitcoin. We saw a huge flow into Gold ETFs & the same will happen with Bitcoin.

These same institution have not only been showing interest, rather they have been investing, only that some people are not getting it right, whereby these same intuitions are bitcoin investors, while individuals interested in bitcoin are going through some of these same institutions to invest in bitcoin ETF instead of them investing in bitcoin itself, so i want to believe now that the spotlight has been more obvious, that they are now considering bitcoin more than the anticipation for bitcoin ETF in some cases.


Though many have been mistaken bitcoin for Spot bitcoin ETF and they have to understand the difference before drawing most of their conclusions on them, having little idea on what ETF talks about, i thing this article will definitely go a long way in clarifying more about this aspect also.
