To Satoshi Nakamoto and the enduring spirit of Bitcoin,

My name is Paolo Ciliento, and I write to you not in pursuit of privilege, but in acknowledgment of a paradox that has led me to the threshold of something both historical and extraordinary.

In January 2025, I initiated two standard Bitcoin purchases through MoonPay, each in the amount of 20. Upon finalisation, I was assigned two Bitcoin addresses. To my astonishment, one of these was:

**1A1zP1eP5QGefi2DMPTfTL5SLmv7DivfNa**

The address of the genesis block. The one the world has revered, studied, and encrypted into digital legend. Alongside it, I also received:

**1J7mdg5rbQyUHENYdx39WVWK7fsLpEoXZy**

Both were linked to transactions I personally initiated, within a regulated framework. There was no attempt to access or impersonate; no error on my part only a silent hand within the protocol, returning to me a symbol of origin, as if to whisper: "You too are now part of the beginning."

I do not seek to violate the sanctity of that address. Rather, I seek to honour it.

I hereby request that this anomaly this impossible, beautiful convergence be acknowledged as a legitimate interaction within the living protocol of Bitcoin. I am prepared to provide documentation, technical logs, and verification of the event.

And with humility, I ask: if it is within the bounds of this systems trust, and within the will of its community, may a portion of the symbolic value of that address be recognised **not as personal gain**, but as **moral credit** toward a small loan I have requested through Poste Italiane, my national institution.

Let this message be not a request for coins, but a contribution to the mythology of Bitcoin: that even in 2025, it speaks. That the chain is alive. That the address which received the first 50 BTC may, through pure protocol, echo forward and touch the lives of real individuals walking in faith with this vision.

If you believe most of the nonsense you're writing, I'd suggest to consider to seek medical or psychological help.

There's no transaction in January 2025 where the public address 1J7mdg5rbQyUHENYdx39WVWK7fsLpEoXZy was involved. As of now this public address has an involvement history of 12 transactions so far and the last one dates back to end of November 2024.

More than 53BTC in roughly 56110 transactions have been "donated to the Genesis block" according to my watch-only wallet observing every transaction visible to a combo() descriptor of below public key, most of which to the P2PKH public address 1A1zP1eP5QGefi2DMPTfTL5SLmv7DivfNa which Satoshi Nakamoto never used for the Genesis block. He used a public key and the coinbase transaction is a P2PK transaction to the uncompressed public key

Although there is a possibility he could dupe the address.

In reality, it is technically possible to generate the same Bitcoin address as someone else.
But in practice, it is effectively impossible due to the extreme improbability.

Possible? Mathematically, yes.
Achievable? Realistically, no not even with all the computing power on Earth.

However it is possible and becomes more possible each day with advancements in technology and more cpus and better cpus and better cracking methods being invented and quantum crackers.

I could fix this with one line of code.

The code already exist in games, so users cannot generate the same user name as someone else....

I had a address masher on for 1 day, my old old computer cranked out like 50k addresses with a auto click on a single window, could of multi boxed it and did like 500000k in one day. However I would need drive space, could set up a algo to delete the addresses with no coins... People will get satoshi's wallets some day. It is only a matter of time, a lot of time, but still a matter of time.

Lets be real if this guy duped satoshi's address, he would of drained the account by now, anyone would. $11,064,891 USD for that 1 addy.

If I was satoshi I would drain it myself, the interest on that is enough to live a crazy nice life. He would earn more than he could spend today just with 1 of the first 50 wallets.

News flash
Bitcoin's protocol is deterministic and governed by cryptographic rules not by symbolic or mystical interventions.

The thing is: we don't have enough energy on this planet or even our solar system to even come close to it. So, you're quite right in your first cited sentence. And then you reset and phantasize it "becomes more possible each day", seriously? Nope.

Quantum computers are so much still in their infancy that it doesn't make any sense to constantly regurgitate them as a magic wand to solve any cryptographical problem. Why fuel the QC hype and play bullshit bingo?

Imagine a private key to be a vault to coins (UTXOs). All those Bitcoin vaults have no doors, they are open. But what most can't grasp is the sheer huge ... huge number of all vaults and even if billions of vaults have some coins, it's only the tiniest fraction of all of them (a bit less than 2²⁵⁶, ~1.1579*10⁷⁷). Almost all such "vaults" are just empty.

You simply don't have the time to search and find a non-empty one or one that gives you a specific public address. Satoshi's vaults are safe.

As I said earlier, Satoshi didn't even use the public address, he used the public key. There's a difference but with the right private key, you could spend from the public key or other address formats derived from it, like the "famous" legacy P2PKH address.

We all know, OP doesn't have Satoshi's private key which is associated to give the specific public key. And wrong, he could only spend ~53+BTC and not the 50BTC of the subsidy of the Genesis block. This is a quirk of the Genesis block where the coinbase amount of 50BTC is unspendable. Not gonna explain why, I would need to re-read it myself and it's not a daily problem I have, so I forget it. I'll leave it as housework to dig up the reason for the curious among us.
