You don't short bitcoin in a bull market, its like a suicide attempt but still who knows? All of you blaming traders the same similar result will happen when Bitcoin topped and no one saw it coming, those who longs will still lose money too so relax.
They will think that we will keep going higher and the top will already be in, also some people are fine with their losses because they risk what they can afford to lose, this is me though, I always use small money to trade.
The loss is not from few traders I believe its what traders lost combined, don't bother timing the top and the bottom, always get off when you are in gains and always go in when others are tired and giving up.
There's always those assumption that after a pump or something significant price increase then there would be always a correction on which this is indeed true. To think that this market is composed in between those bears and those bulls on which it would be that always a tag-of-war in between. If there would be those pumps then expect that there would be those people who do got liquidated and vice versa. Profitability will be just that vary or depend on where these people been that placing out their positions. There would be always those losers and winners in each side and it would be just that a very common scenario that we can see on everyday here on the market on which there would be those who do lose money and earn ones. If you are a trader then you would be needing up to make out such decisions whether you would be that making up some long or short position. Just like on what been said that shorting on a bullish market is completely a suicide because once that momentum that kicks in then it would be just that very dangerous for you to proceed with that short position. It is just that impossible that they wouldnt be wary about on the risks involved.
For those who had been liquidated then there would be those who do make some serious PNL when the market did make out some serious green candles. For those who had been waiting up for some serious correction before another leg up then they would be making out some short position but just like been said that if there's a bullish momentum then it would be that very hard for you to go against with the trend and never ever trying out to go opposite with it because that would be a devastative thing.
