You're not completely wrong, if the rejected transaction has to do with regional restriction, based on the domain server then it has nothing to do with bitcoin, but if same hosting site accepts bitcoin i think the transaction would have been sent and approved with ease, though the op didn't give much information but if it was possible that way it would have worked and that's what I think he was driving but with the wrong mindset.

OP, I think this has nothing to do with anything discriminatory here, but rather the possibility of your region or the mode of payment not being included on the list of acceptable currencies. Hence, you had the challenge of making a payment via BTC. If it were to be some other countries that have not yet integrated BTC into their system, you could have faced similar challenges as well, but still, you were able to make your transaction with others that accept BTC as a means of payment. Bitcoin is for all and not a thing of recognition to some over others. Bitcoin knows no country, and there is never a limitation to bitcoin spending.

Of course bitcoin is not a regional currency or a type of money that is used to control people, see others as less privilege and some as prestigious. Satoshi Nakamoto intentions were to eradicate all of the ideas that seem to be restrictive in money usage and sure he achieved that already as bitcoin does help reach the people who are unreachable even though it's still struggling to do so globally yet it has seen success in good quantities.

This isn't discrimination. If your card's been rejected you'll have to ask the bank why it didn't work they'll explain why it didn't work. Some web hosting & domain seller companies accept bitcoin so it's good you've got the domain.

OP seems to think the website is racist. (?) I do not know how true that will be. Like you said there could be just some issues with your card or it's just not compatible with the site. You would need to check again but either way, this highlights how in times like this bitcoin really is the best option to pay online for less hassle.

He'll have to ask the card co what happened. African card holders buy online things every day they don't get blocked so his domain purchase shouldn't have been rejected. He should ask the card co why they didn't let him buy the domain.
