Next Bitcoin halving is only happening in three years, so there is plenty of time left.
I think we are going to see big changes as we are getting close to 2030, and not just with Bitcoin but with all markets.
I would not hold any altcoins by then, except maybe something that has real privacy like monero and can actually be used.

Since the next halving is still more than 3 years away, that's not a short time frame and we'll likely have to go through a bear season before we get there. So if you are looking for a long term investment and hold on until then. Honestly, I don't think there is any investment more worthy of consideration and trustworthy than bitcoin. Bitcoin will be the only coin that can guarantee survival through the upcoming bear season, the rest of the market is still too early to tell. Because historically, every time a bear season comes, a lot of altcoins disappear and die. So, this is not a good time to invest in altcoins and hold until the next bull season.

That’s my list and here is my reasoning:

Btc 2 times. It is because it is the O G. If btc fails, the whole crypto market will collapse. It simply cannot fail. The safest, the most reliable network and it is guaranteed to have positive returns if you wait a few years.

Ltc. The O G altcoin. It survived the last decade and it will be around in the next one. It used to be a btc copy/paste coin but it has some different features now. Not a copy/paste coin anymore. Doing its own thing. Fast and cheap too.

Xmr. The O G privacy coin. If you want to stay anonymous this is the network you should be using. Hard to get, hard to sell but once you get it, it is worth every penny. Can’t go wrong with this one. Get it.

Doge. The O G meme coin. It doesn’t matter if Elon is supporting this. Elon will be gone and when he is gone, some other billionaire will support it. Why? Because life is more fun with doge and even billionaires need to hage fun. Doge makes people laugh.

Many have written it, the best thing until 2030 will be bitcoin.
Adam back has said that it makes no sense to invest in altcoins. It is very hard and you can increase your bitcoin with some altcoins, but that is in many cases a high risk, or luck. If you are a hodler and dont want any stress in the next few years, then buy bitcoin and stay calm when the price drops. The BTC price will be much higher in the future, when fiat continues like the last few years. 1 million per bitcoin, I think we will see this, but i takes more years, or maybe more cycles.

With recent bull run experience, I have already learned my lessons. I started to only go with Bitcoin only, even after this, like let's say we will have ba ear run again and even until 2030. I am more in favor of Bitcoin only.
That's why as long as possible, I can only hold more Bitcoin other than altcoins, even how good altcoin is that.

Giving financial advice to others has never been considered wise, as everyone's tastes and preferences are different. If you find them to be coins worth investing in and holding until 2030, then invest in them.


There are people who are only interested in bitcoin and don't seem to care about anything else no matter how potential it has. If you give them advice on altcoins, they will even criticize you back and say your portfolio is stupid. Conversely, if you advise speculators and get rich quick seekers to invest only in bitcoin, they will say you are wasting a bigger opportunity.

The best investment is the one that fits your criteria and preferences.

I still own some altcoins like BNB, ETH, XRP, and SOL. But I think I'll just buy Bitcoin monthly until the next halving. I've already missed two halvings, prioritizing altcoins, and I regret it now. Yes, the next halving is still a long way off, but I'll be using the DCA method to save Bitcoin. I'll probably just save Monero, as XMR seems to have great potential in the future. I won't be tempted by new prospects like altcoins and meme coins. Although I've read a lot of news about people becoming rich from meme coins, for now I prefer coins with strong fundamentals, like Bitcoin.

Altcoins did not even take a turn (yet?) this bull cycle to shine, what makes you think they will shine in the next few years? At best altcoins will be used for small transactions and/or quick profits but less likely to be used as a storage of money especially for the long term because not many altcoins can even last for a long time.

I will say ETH, also SOL....... that's all I have on my list for rn. Oh and of course Fart coin hahaha just kidding!!
