That’s a solid catch. The Ayre connection definitely raises an eyebrow, especially given how aggressively BSV circles have tried to push Wright’s “Satoshi” narrative over the years. When you see Ayre’s fingerprints on the production side and a writer with past ties to one of his ventures, it’s hard not to assume the film is going to lean heavily toward their preferred storyline.

That said, IMDb listings and a writer’s old résumé don’t always tell the full story about the final tone of a project. Sometimes these things start as one idea and evolve into something very different by the time it hits a screen.

Still, considering the timing and Wright’s recent string of legal defeats, a sympathetic biopic would be… convenient, to put it mildly. If this really turns out to be an Ayre-backed PR vehicle, I doubt it’ll get much traction outside the BSV bubble.

I’ll reserve judgment until there’s an actual trailer or some verified production info — but yeah, all the signs so far suggest we’re not getting an impartial take on Satoshi here.

Have you even visited the thread linked in the OP? None of those users are using AI and actually my quoted AI reply is much better that what they are saying.

Okay, so we have a thread that has been opened because a user has the impression that the respondents in a thread are AI bots. It's obvious that they are not AI bots, but rather that they have written generic posts on page 3 of a thread in Bitcoin Discussion without reading much about what had been discussed previously, as has been the case for many years.

But the problem seems to be AI, and now in this thread we have to start reaffirming how bad AI is, even though it has nothing to do with what the OP says, which is false.

All of this puts aside the fact that any of the shitposters in the topic referred to by OP could be using AI at any time anyway and disguising it by simply rewriting what it tells them in a very generic way.

I've been "complaining" about the lack of punishment for plagiarism and AI for years now, and largely gave up reporting them.

If Mods just delete the reported posts but let the user continue, I just click Ignore and move on. This may very well destroy Bitcointalk as we know it.
