Investors should normalize having to hold Bitcoin for a long time. We all know Bitcoin revolves about 4years cycle and yeah there isn’t equal duration season within this cycle but, what if there were… wouldn’t it be the right idea to expect that since we have basically 2 seasons(Bulls/Bears) in this space, wouldn’t it make sense for investors to normalize having to expect that either seasons last for at least 2years?

That type of thinking alone would build in you as a person, the patience you would need to hold and the desire to keep buying in seasons like the bears when the price is low.

The bull market comes then what happens? Do you see the majority having to liquidate their asset all in the name of taking profit? Even that too isn’t usually the case.

It’s just a psychological thing, the rush that comes with price appreciation in the bulls that our assets gains value even when we don’t withdraw. So, when the bears are actively at play in the market, it’s important to understand that it’s only for a time and the price would pump again.

What Bitcoin price did last year can not be forgotten in a hurry after making it maiden $100k price with an ATH of about $126k that got many investors happy-triggered to taking profit from their portfolio been that a price increase of that mark has never been reached at that time.

When Bitcoin price rises so high the market also turns back and make a pullback for price adjustment. Holding Bitcoin is about patience and when price drops we just have to keep hodling and top up our portfolio by buying at a discount price waiting till when price rises up high again.

There is a season for everything, and in Bitcoin investing there is a season for bull market, and their is also a season for bear market, and as at the year 2025, the Bitcoin price was bullish reaching around $126000, and since then, the price of Bitcoin has been slowly going down. However, to those who have been in the Bitcoin market for so long, what is happening now does not seem very strange to them rather they look at it as something usually, and are no longer inquisitive about Bitcoin slowly going down in Price. But as for the biginners or newbies, they try to question every downward movement of Bitcoin price, and even try to be discouraged, and such investors don't need to be blamed so much because they are just beginners.

The price of Bitcoin has become less volatile compared to when Bitcoin newly came onboard, and then price of Bitcoin could drop even drop down to about 80% or even more which made many people to be afraid of Bitcoin investing, but today Bitcoin is less bearish in nature compared before, and thereby even attracting more investors to itself from both individuals, and institutions

The holders will hold their Bitcoin no matter if value of Bitcoin drops to $30k again or even below that. Instead of selling their Bitcoin they'll keep accumulating more Bitcoin during such dips because they trust Bitcoin and they believe in long term returns not in short terms returns.

Most investors buy Bitcoin using DCA method or dip buying strategy in hope that they'll sell it after a decade or two and some even accumulate it so they could have financial freedom when they reach old age.

There're also those people who accumulate Bitcoin so they can create generational wealth for their new generation so everyone has different reasons for buying and holding Bitcoin and those who're into it will always support it.

To be honest, the holders will keep holding it no matter what happens, only the weak hands will sell in fear when they see Bitcoin dumping hard but the smart ones increase their accumulation during those dumps.

You're free to hold for as long as you want. This is not the first time Bitcoin has fallen very low and taken forever to get a new ATH, but what matters is it always comes back up. When Bitcoin had an ATH of $69k, after a while, it crashed down to around $19k and stayed for years before it eventually got a new ATH.
My point is, history has shown that it always goes back up, so if you're certain it will get a new ATH, you should be able to determine how long you want to hold.
There is no crime in selling when you're comfortable or taking profit, but when you look at Bitcoin's history and how it has behaves in the past, you should know that getting a new ATH is a matter of time. It's almost a certainty, no matter how long the price may fall.

I believe that only the new investors onboard will panic because this is their first experience. Though, traders are not exempted from panic as well even if they know what they're doing. This is how the circle is always like, short term holders panic because they're waiting for the dip and long term investors are busy buying more to fill their bags. If you gat extra funds keep buying.

It's the best Bitcoin season for the mean time but the best is yet to come cause that's not the last bullish season we'll witness. Since Bitcoin is still in the correctional phase, it's not a matter of how much longer we should hold but how well have we been accumulating in preparation for the bullish season ahead.

There's no best time to buy and keep holding than now as Bitcoin is still under correction, holding can be very tough but there's no option than to continue doing it and adding more at the same time, keep holding guys.

No matter how much the price of Bitcoin increases, you can definitely achieve success if you continue to buy Bitcoin. For this, we should be patient enough, only through patience can we achieve success in Bitcoin investment. Because you see, this bull season has touched 126k dollars, in 2021 it touched 69k dollars. In this way, the price of Bitcoin is gradually going up, so in 2029 we will definitely see more high prices. So investing in Bitcoin is quite important for the future.
