In essence, it's not wrong to say that someone investing in Bitcoin is pursuing profit, as that's fundamentally normal in the investment world. Furthermore, pursuing profit isn't inherently bad. It's fundamentally a key value Bitcoin currently holds, in addition to its resilience against inflation and other factors. So, fundamentally, it's clear that the majority of people buying Bitcoin today are aiming for profit. Not just nominal profit, but also value and long-term wealth preservation. That's clearly a benefit as well. So, basically, we don't need to worry about this, because Bitcoin is an asset with so many uses. So, I believe that as long as the results are positive, it's good. Therefore, I believe that people who own Bitcoin are clearly very fortunate, regardless of what they do with it. Most importantly, they know that Bitcoin is a powerful asset. So, in conclusion, Bitcoin is profitable in many ways.

I choose Bitcoin for few reasons.

Bitcoin is fully decentralised, which has it's own space for freedom seekers like me.
Bitcoin doesn't change its stance, unlike other projects and it's why it's more reliable than others.

Bitcoin choose PoW and it's been how many years now? It never decided to change its algorithm, that's a huge plus from the creator, every promise every words was kept and fulfilled.

This is why Bitcoin is a great tool for people who wants their own bank and their freedom.

Funny we might not have seen the real growth yest that we want to see. Bitcoin is just 17 years old, by the time it get to 20 years we will be having the 5th halving and a year after it will be 20 years. It's possible that we are going to experience more growth that we have not seen. Some of the institutional investors that are looking forward to see the next bull run will not want to lose the opportunity, we may see much more than we have had.

There is a crypto clarity act, I'm not sure how that one will end but one day, it's going to be accepted and passed. If that is done, I think some investors are going to be willing to make investment to Bitcoin without having any fear. The people that don't understand about Bitcoin will all have confidence which means more confidence.

The thing that inspire me most about Bitcoin is its price, Because I live in a country where the value of money is constantly decreasing. If I keep my money in a bank there, it might have a purchasing power equivalent to $600 after five years. If I buy Bitcoin there, it might give me a purchasing power of $1500 or more after five years. Considering this aspect, it can save me a lot from inflation since its supply is limited. Another thing is its decentralization. We all know that Bitcoin is decentralized. If we keep our money in a bank, there is a possibility that our money will be frozen or held, but if we keep it in Bitcoin, we have all the control over our money. So this is another big reason. So for now, these two big reasons motivate me to invest in Bitcoin.

You see the most interesting part about Bitcoin is that its value goes beyond just its market price, but also about the fact that it gives people a way to transfer and hold value without needing the permission of some kind of central authority. Many people just feel the reason bitcoin is considered the best asset is because of its price alone, but they fail to realize that the real deal is in the underlying change in how ownership really works as it concerns finance and only those who really know how Bitcoin works would understand this freedom that Bitcoin hands to its users.

How about we don't generalized it that everyone who do invest in to Bitcoin is doing that mainly for the goal of profit, this is because bitcoin itself stands as a store of value, some people can be in to Bitcoin because of the alarming increasing inflation rate of their local currency and consider Bitcoin a safe place against inflation of their value. People holding Bitcoin have the liberty of their own goal which can be different from the other person, the most important thing is that those holding Bitcoin should have a goal which motivates them to hold.

When it comes to advertising, I don’t think Bitcoin has been spouting nonsense from the start; rather, Bitcoin encourages us to think critically about whether to stick with the fiat system—which we’ve already experienced and know how complex it is—or to embrace a system like Bitcoin’s, which grants every user the freedom to be their own king or their own bank.

And that’s basically one of the things I admire and value about Bitcoin. The moment a transaction is confirmed, there’s nothing that can reverse it, the sender can’t just reverse it through customer support like they might with traditional payment services. This literally gives you that certainty that the coin you received is actually yours, but that freedom comes with its own cost too, cos it means you’ll have to be 100% responsible for keeping your funds secure and safe and if anything goes wrong, it’s all on you.

Nah, I actually think anyone who's been investing in and holding Bitcoin long term already gets how it works, down to all its use cases. It's not like they only know the price.
People just talk about the price a lot more and rarely get into the other use cases, because that's what matters most to them.

And chasing profit isnt nothing wrong or shameful either, like Tamaperdana said. Everyone's just prioritizing whatever matters more to them, and I'd bet you're no different, right?

If the question is why I am motivated to remain in bitcoin, apart from bitcoin itself, I have many other motivations such as;
The government of my country;
The currency of my country;
My siblings and friends;

The government:
The politicians who eventually become the government of my country have no human sympathy. They don't come to serve the masses, the come to exploit the masses and impoverish them in order to keep them helpless, harmless and blindly loyal to them and willing to do their biddings at all cost.

Bitcoin has given me the opportunity to earn, understand the liberty and freedom ideology. So, I am never caught up under the web of the wicked politicians and their corrupt government.

The currency:
My country's currency is among the weakest in the world. If I decide to earn only in my country's currency and not convert to bitcoin, inflation will eat me up over the years and reduce my savings strength.

Siblings and Friends:
When many people are looking up to you, you'll strife to get involved in any new technology and find ways to increase your earnings.
