Yeah, that's how you do you money and I respect it. However, I would still like to recommend you to keep both fund separated and to manage your money corresponding to some criteria. Dont mix them together because each asset has its own characteristics, risk level, and purpose.
When investing, we should mix up things, as the name implies Emergency funds, then we should leave it as emergency funds, and we shouldnt invest with it. Both funds are not even suppose to be kept together, so that you wont end up investing with the one that is meant for emergency. Whenever emergency is going to happen, its not going to notify anyone, and its not going to wait till bitcoin price has pumped before its going to happen, its can happen at any moment, so we should be prepared for it at any moment.
I always keep my emergency money in fiat and in the bank. For BTC and gold, I would like to keep it only for investing. I never think to keep it for emergency fund.
I have a bank account which I dont use often thats where I do keep my emergency funds, I dont even keep in account which I do use in making transactions on a daily basis, because I might end up using it for what am not suppose to use it for, so am always having a separate account for it.
