Bitcoin has been around for 17 years now.
Looking back, what part of Bitcoins journey has surprised you the most?
The most surprising thing about Bitcoin from its inception to the present time was its price rise. The time was the beginning of Bitcoin's journey on January 3, 2009. Bitcoin's journey began with Nakamoto mining the first block. Although Bitcoin had no value in the initial state, its price increased due to its limited supply. The skyrocketing trend of price increase surprised me the most.
And what do you think someone from 2010 would find hardest to believe about Bitcoin today?
Many folk questioned its credibility in 2010, but smart people bought Bitcoin. Perhaps I could not have believed it at that time because Bitcoin was not very well known at that time.
Maybe the price, institutional adoption, countries holding it, the size of the mining industry, or simply how long Bitcoin has survived.
What would you have found hardest to believe back then?
I do not believe in most of the shitcoins that are currently on the market. If I had known about Bitcoin in 2010, I might not have given it much importance. At that time, those who initially knew about Bitcoin and decided to buy it after analyzing it were holding Bitcoin.
