Even IOS with vetted app store isnt safe from these infostealers yet there is certain social media account on twitter saying controversial statement that people might be better off using iPhone than a hardware wallet.

Well, hardware wallets don't get this kind of malicious app too often, in fact almost never and i'd trust hardware wallet any day over an iPhone with privacy invading AI bloatware which is also another attack vector for prompt injection.

Another reminder to never store your seed phrase on your phone if you take your crypto seriously because it has too much moving parts that is keeping it from being a secure device for your assets.

Even doing a screenshot of your seed phrase or private key is very dangerous, modern infostealer could have OCR to look through thousand of images in your gallery and look for seed phrase, worse thing is, you will never know when that happened.

Better safe than sorry write it down to a paper or metal seed phrase plate instead.
