A lot of Bitcoin discussions eventually come back to price, how high it can go, when the next bull market starts, or whether we are heading into another correction.
But if we completely remove the price from the conversation, what is left?
Bitcoin gives people the ability to hold and transfer value without depending on a central bank, payment company, or government to approve every transaction. Its fixed supply, decentralized network, and predictable monetary rules are also very different from traditional financial systems.
At the same time, Bitcoin still has real challenges: scalability, transaction fees, energy consumption, privacy, and the difficulty of getting ordinary people to actually use self-custody.
So I'm curious what others think:
If Bitcoins price stayed exactly where it is for the next 10 years, would you still consider Bitcoin valuable? Why or why not?
Now my question to you is how else do you want to see Bitcoin? Discuss the technical aspects if your knowledge is so vast.
Bitcoin is a digital asset and it's store of value and a means of long term investment. For folk like us with less knowledge and low income, building up holdings through small buying will be the best investment policy.
Gold is a precious metal, why do folk buy and hold gold because it is a metal whose availability is rare in the world. Gold is considered the most stable asset. But it is only a hard metal. It is compared to Bitcoin as a store of value and some are giving preference to Bitcoin considering the possibility of rising prices in the future.
Is there any logical reason why the price of Bitcoin will not rise after the next 10 years? My argument for Bitcoin to increase significantly over the next 10 years compared to its current price is that its limited supply (only 21 million, most of which have been mined) and widespread global adoption continue to grow and will continue to grow in the future.
