It depends on what you define as minimal KYC.

Is a phone # & email address KYC to you? I can get a cell phone & number with minimal service for a year for $50+ tax (US based) so to me that is not KYC.
Also, depends on what methods you want to use to pay and where you are in the world.

So the question is a bit vague since what I can do where I am may not be a service that would work where you are.

Also, I am not saying me as in me or you as in you but in the general versions of 2 people trading. Laws and tons of other things vary so much by location that you can list services but then people still have to figure out if that service works for them where they are.

I believe it is possible not purchase or swap USDT for Bitcoin in Unstoppable wallet, no KYC required, unstoppable wallet users should verify this if anyone has done it before.



I've not exchange that much amount before though, but it's very possible using USDT inside the wallet itself.

Previously I was using Noones but since it shut down its operations, I was looking for an alternative. Someone here on the forum suggested https://www.bitvalve.com/. I registered there and have completed multiple trades. For me it is working fine for both buying and selling Bitcoin.

I dont know how much "little" is little for you but see the screenshot below for reference. You can easily buy/sell up to 1000$ with just email verification. So if you completely want to skip KYC, you could just use 10 emails instead (though I am not suggesting you do this, rather I would recommend completing Advanced KYC, maybe they dont allow multi accounts).

If someone has stablecoins, then their options to swap it for bitcoin without KYC is a lot more. There are so many no-KYC "swap" platforms out there. Like the one currently in my signature space (and OP's) called dex.fo and its current max limit is almost half a million dollar (5.89BTC) which is much higher than what OP was asking ($10k).

But the problem is that people who want to purchase bitcoin without KYC usually don't have stablecoins, they have fiat which they want to swap for btc. That's why their options are so limited. Normally any platform that accepts fiat also inherits its centralized regulations such as mandatory KYC/AML crap.

The only requirement from P2P is phone number but it's not always a must, some peered personal prefer to get your phone number so that they can notify you once the make the transaction but most times I always don't drop my phone number.

Things have changed, with a phone number today your information can be known but that's on the providers of the SIM card though so it's still hard for criminals to get information from phone number only.

So it's still safer compared to filling forms that contains your address and pictures, if care isn't taken even P2P platforms will have to start asking for KYC someday, just like Hodlhodl, that's if you are been flagged though.

Finally this exchanges have actually find a way to make this baseless claim of clean and tainted coin, how do we have this intuition that a particular coin because it’s a large amount is utterly not a clean coin? So if the person who got that large amount of bitcoin from selling pizza to Laszlo now wants to sell he must pass the AML check or such coins be considered tainted?.

Personally I do think somehow that this is even a trick of centralized exchanges to actually reduce traction on decentralized exchanges and this is affecting their liquidity because if any one wants to buy large amount of coin they avoid non KYC platform because of this stereotype of tainted coins

Personally to the OP I think using most of this DEX and buying from all with little amount will be my advice

Criminals shouldn't be offering hacked/Stolen Bitcoin to innocent people, and it's why buying Bitcoin from people and not the exchange is not safe because the Bitcoin you trade with someone can be stolen Bitcoin.

Also I thought hackers all know about Mixers? I expect the smart criminals to use mixers to get away with stolen Bitcoin instead of finding someone to sell them to, I remember reading about the hacker who stole some ETH moved the coins through Uniswap.

It was right there I knew that the hacker isn't smart at all, I suspect that he or they will eventually be caught or probably end up with a block crypto wallet address.
