Has increased the number of politicians that appear speaking well of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Some even buy, post prints and declare themselves in favor of the financial freedom. The doubt is, is this real conviction or only a way of promote themselves and gain support of part of the electorate?
Is worth trust in politician that says himself adept of the cryptocurrencies or is better distrust?
In the end, will they do what they always do and end up disappointing?
I wanted to specially talk about a particular politician in the US, because I think his case is a good example why we should be careful when judging politicians based only on their public support for Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
Over the years, we have seen politicians speaking positively about bitcoin and cryptocurrency, they even go as far as purchasing Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies attending crypto related events and so on, meanwhile it was never from their mind.
What you should understand is that the politician themselves understands that the crypto community is growing that many people, especially the young voters are interested in Bitcoin and other digital assets, so they use it as an opportunity to attract those young voters to themselves by supporting Bitcoin an other cryptocurrencies, buying Bitcoin and so on
