This has been extensively discussed and is something that we all are well aware of. Technology will always advance and same as security, anything that can't change this will fall and Bitcoin is not like that,  take your time and go through the links shared, no matter the feedback enjoy the knowledge shared.

Previously, we had "Bitget shillers," who kept spamming forums with their annoying narratives about Bitget. And now we have Quantum FUD spammers who keep coming back with their annoying narratives. Do you guys work for the same company to spam the same topic over and over again? I'm guessing you'll come back tomorrow with the same narrative that quantum is a threat to Bitcoin.

Yeah Quantum computers has always been nothing but to destroy Bitcoin. It seems they were only  built for the sole purpose of destroying Bitcoin then..

Well, I haven’t really seen that much Bitget spam but i guess , we won’t stop dealing with these particular threads about QCs till the QC becomes  no threat in any way.

I suggest op locking the thread, what exactly was the plan probably bringing it here might cause panic and then people start withdrawing their bitcoin holdings.
Fair enough, bitcoin has always had competitors no doubt and I think is best for the growth of bitcoin, I hardly come across news like this except for post like such made here in the forum.
If this false claim were true as portrayed by the op, I’m sure a lot of bitcoin holders will start facing difficulties in relation to the post. While this is not going to happen I think people should avoid updates like this, informations like this will not do any good.

Real danger or just hype, I guess it differs to every human investor that is holding bitcoin. Every investor should be responsible enough to acquire thorough research and learn from the past mistakes of early investors, not to confidently invest and hold without real security measures because that will definitely become a threat to the outcome of their investment.

But every tool that aims to steal and destroy our hard-earned money will always end up a threat. The reason why we should always stick with responsible investing and follow the security measures that comes with it.

Is it likely to happen? I would say no - unless the Bitcoin core developers are literally as they
say "asleep at the wheel" and are oblivious to the future concept of Quantum Computing.,
thats how it COULD happen.

Its not like quantum computers are magically going to appear at some point in the future
and literally create financial havoc. We have been talking about the "threat" for about the last
4 years.
