If Bitcoin was to be invented in 2026 I believe Bitcoin would have still passed through criticism just like it was around 2009 when it was first introduced. Bitcoin is beginning to receive adoption, and attention because it has remained unchanged in the digital market, and the recognition, and adoption is just a recent development after years of being around in the digital market . So it took many people time including these institutions to believe that Bitcoin has a legitimate roadmap. So if Satoshi Nakamoto has introduced Bitcoin in 2026, since it is not backed by the federal government, it would still take people time to observe before taking decision on what to do.
Well said, irrespective of the time period and technology advancement there will be criticism. At the same time there are chances of similar things getting invented earlier and the same could've been successful or failure. Maybe if something invented is successful Bitcoin could also stay strong in the market. If not, the initial view upon bitcoin will be different and the same itself makes it less popular. Bitcoin took different transition to reach the current position. It was invented for a purpose, but got its usage into dark web and illegal market. Further into gambling and later into a valuable investment. The real purpose went unnoticed. If it were launched now, it directly takes the role of investment rather going through different transition.
