Binance is really something, it seems they have not learned their lesson, as mentioned they were hacked multiple times and still allowed it to happen again. I guess even if Binance is able to cover their customers' balances, it's also worth considering shifting to a more secure exchange.
Aren't you oversimplifying things a bit?
Keeping a business secure and fending off hackers is no easy task, especially when it holds hundreds of billions of dollars' worth of assets and is constantly in hackers' crosshairs .
Learning from past attacks doesn't mean you can prevent every attack that comes next. And just because an exchange has suffered multiple security breaches doesn't mean it hasn't learned from them. Hackers don't stand still either. They're always finding new ways to exploit vulnerabilities. No system is 100% secure.
So which exchange do you reckon is safer and more reliable than Binance ? huh?
If binance knew their employee would try to open shady email from fake job interview and installed random app, they'd fire the employee right away.
Unfortunately nobody can read minds and monitoring 24/7 is impossible.
There is no such thing as more secure exchange when it comes to targeted attack, how many billions has Binance invested for their security and the hacker took unexpected strategy by exploited their employee through social engineering.
Those "secure exchange" simply haven't become the target for sophisticated attacks yet.
