Over the years, crypto has created opportunities for people to invest, trade and move money across borders. But at the same time, weve continued to hear stories of hacked wallets, stolen funds, scams, fraudulent platforms and market crashes. Even major platforms like Binance have experienced security breaches and big whales manipulating prices. Incidents like these make me wonder how safe our funds really are, especially for ordinary people who trust crypto with their hard earned money.
Cash getting stolen or someone with cash getting scammed = individual mistake
Bank got hacked = Bank mistake
Now with crypto
wallet getting compromised = they blamed it as crypto mistake for not being safe enough
exchange hacks or hardware wallet manufacturer exploit = crypto get the blame again
See the problem? People weirdly shift the blame to crypto for what supposedly institutional or individual mistake. Those Bitcoin don't spend itself nor get itself stolen, over thousands of incident, it's never about Bitcoin getting breached but instead it's always mistakes made by the people who use Bitcoin.
Tho, I believe in 2035 instead of becoming irrelevant, it'll become more relevant than ever. The decentralized peer to peer money isn't just gimmick. It really have place in the financial technology.
