Downloaded the Mac wallet twice and keep getting this message when I try launching the OSX version...
bitstar-qt is damaged and cant be opened. You should move it to the Trash.

So there is nothing to be done if I forget my wallet password is there?
I locked it and unlocked it to see if it would help staking, left it unlocked but now it is locked and I forget what I put in as the password.

Any chance you have a previous backup from when it was unlocked? I'd backup the current one too, but if you drop in an "unlocked" backup you should be ok.
