This is a good question. I looked into that and changed some parts of the code to remove the obvious traps. The "self-kill" machanism you are talking about was solved with a simple change of blockheight in the code. 

I am not saying that I can guarantee no further problems after the launch, but I am an nearly 100% sure, that I will be able to fix all those problems and stop those attacks.

Do you remember back when NXT was attacked by DDos? I think it made the community stronger. So I am looking forward to that!
