Thats great news for me. I have been doing lots of test transactions from test wallets because I recently set up a remote node on $5 Digital Ocean And wanted to get to grips with simplewallet command line UI before moving my Monero from Polo.

My home bandwidth is too poor to run bitmonero daemon and I could never get it to work locally. It just used to bomb out and I gave up.

I highly recommend running a remote node on a VPS to anyone living in a country with unreliable and slow bandwidth and then just pointing simplewallet at it. This works just fine.

Whats your home bandwidth? It should be able to run..... bomb out? Can you describe more the behavior?

I'm in the Philippines.. Technically, I have a 8MB connection ADSl, but in reality I get nothing like that. Sometimes its virtually unusable.

Do you have any idea how many people bought bitcoin at 20+ dollars just to see its price fall all the way to 2 (or was it 4 I cant remember). Why oh why did they buy bitcoin at 20 whole dollars. They lost 90% of their wealth!? Those bagholders never recovered. Oh wait bitcoins at 600 now Cheesy

Maybe he will be a long term holder, because from the chart, we could see monero won't jump significantly in this year. He may have chance to make money in 2017.

Yes but 800h/s at 50% power usage at 150W and 45 C so i guess it can perform better

I have my Gui wallet 0.41.1, but he's stuck on sync in the area of 1000000 block 174 days ago was the last block and a few hours of not loading does anyone know what I can do? thank you

I have also bought some in very high price like 0.023 to 0.0215 and now panic after seeing so much dump. But i think if i don't sell i will not loss any so basically waiting for another good pump so that i can sell mine at even higher price than i have bought at.
