Excellent price ticker, thank you for your hard work!

I gotta say, it's nice to see an altcoin stick around. I remember when SilkCoin launched the first POW phase, I mined it and sacked those coins away and almost forgot about them. Glad I didn't just dump, I had a good feeling about the coin. Out of (to me) nowhere last week it shows up on top coin list on Bittrex, it's just damn refreshing to see something stick around. Keep up the good work devs, I bought a bunch more last night right before the price jump and didn't sell at 8k. The amazing thing is, I wasn't even heartbroken this morning to see it at 6.2k. For once, I actually don't think this is the end of the ride.

Hope I'm right!

Wasn't black coin trading at 500 Satoshi after the end of PoW? They are consistently over 20k to 25k satoshi... just saying....

I'm not including Blackcoin in my analysis, just all the pow/pos Coins after blackcoin. Nobody knew about Blackcoin after its POW ended, it didn't become popularly known until a month after the pow ended.

Kind of not fair to leave out a comparison that does not support your argument. Also Silk Coin has offered a 2nd PoW phase unlike all the others. Silk coin was relatively unknown during the first phase. Then 30 days of PoS it got more popular. Then everyone knew about it and could mine during the 2nd PoW.

The fact is that if you try to hit a correction you may miss and end up with LESS coins than you started. If you KNOW a coin is undervalued just hold during the jitter as it rises. Silk Coin is a quality coin with quality devs and a great supportive community. The precedent is set for lasting value. Today's innovations are only the beginning. I think Silk Coin will change not only Crypto but social media!

After re-reading my earlier post, I believe it was misleading. I wasn't trying to encourage selling before my predicted correction, but more to understand that it's just a standard correction that had happened to many of the pow/pos coins after the pow stage ends.

Once again, to be clear...please hold your coins or get back in street the correction, silkcoin has strong development and I agree it will be a force in social media!

Well I was able to build it using qt4 (which failed earlier) but after installing libqtgui4:i386 libqrencode3:i386 libdb5.1++:i386 it built and it is syncing now, UI looks pretty slick, def different from any other wallet I have used Grin

I think rock bottom would be 4000, just my opinion. Once all the big farmers are done dumping we should see a recovery in price, buy orders on bittrex are still strong and I'm sure the same is true on MP, use this chance to snap up cheap SC I know I did. How many cryptocurrencies you know which emmited 50% coins in a short time yet they went +!!50% in value? What happens when multipool will stop dumping? Price will go up. Another perfect momentum is building up...

It would take 30 bitcoin to get it back over 7000 on mintpal. With a volume of 971 bitcoin for Silk. 30 Bitcoins is very little.

trust me if I had 30 BTC I would buy up as much SC as possible I mined a large portion of my SC and bought the rest at less than 3000 so I'm still well into the profit range but thats not the point, point is this coin is going places and I'm going along for the ride with a bit of luck and with all the hard work the devs are putting in I hope SC really explodes cause god knows I need some good news right about now lol
