Here's a graph that shows why the hashrate is a problem right now. Someone is absolutely raping this coin and dumping it mercilessly.

Edit: what you want to look at is the pie graph. That is completely abnormal to see a coin have 63% of all non LTC altcoins. Someone decided to utilize a supercomputer farm or something to kill this coin. Luckily PoW ends soon. Also this shows that the market price right now is essentially meaningless. The market value will be much closer to reality once the manipulator is shut out.

If you've seen the market this isn't that unusual for PoW/PoS coins. Once they reach top dog status people want to undermine them/make money off the PoW phase, dump and move on. It is absolutely good for people who believe in the coin and want cheap coins. Like I said, even in the short term of the next few days this drop will be meaningless. Market movements like this don't stick unless there is a good reason and dumping is not one of them.

What the fuck is going on with the price. Went from 170,000 satoshis to 120,000 satoshis. This makes me so furious.

I'm sorry to say it's pointless to pump a PoW/PoS coin until PoW is over. These things are bound to happen.

I'm speculating here, but perhaps someone spent a lot of money on a farm to get a ton of coins to dump so that they could scare XC holders into dumping and buying their current Darkcoin pump. Then they will move the profits back to XC.
