XC, another coin that went from PoW to PoS today, is seeing massive problems with sudden forks etc.
This seems to be a regular problem, are you sure Mastiff will not have problems like this when PoW stops?
Especially with the blocktime of 30 seconds, I'd assume it would be much more likely?
Since everything so far has been really smooth, can we hope that everything is cared for in that regard?

Yes, we're confident. Block times of 30 seconds do not increase the risk of forks -- unreliable code does.

We have already completed the activation of PoS, 100% successfully.

@seattletu The only explanation we've been able to come up with is that people are trying to accumulate a lot of MAST while keeping the price suppressed to get it cheaply. It is really hard to tell what's going on with the way Bittrex's order books are displayed though.

I agree with others in here, this coin is a hidden GEM. If everything goes well at the end of POW as I assume it will, I think we will see a nice rise in price. I have been trying to convince people still mining XC after the fork to come join me mining at Minep.it, but they would rather mine fake coins and will not believe me mining is over for XC. Oh well, our gain. Happy mining guys and let's bang this out to the Super Blocks!

we buy and sell and tell other people to buy and sell. sustained volume is the #1 reason a coin gets added to mintpal. or we can try to win the weekly vote.

the bid and the ask prices have a wide difference. buyers know miners are dumping cheap. sellers know the price will be high once miners stop dumping. oh the dichotomy!
