Invested .025 at the time, turned it into a little over .1. Reinvested that .1 in the 99.99% and ended up losing 100% of it extremely quickly in a few hour span.
Is that to be expected? To just up a lose an entire investment?
Every single person invested at 99.00 is profitable and we expect that to remain.
99.99 has more variance. We had over 400 BTC wagered against a small bankroll of investments at 99.99 (i.e. less than 1 BTC).
At almost dead even odds, there is of course opportunity for a small bankroll like that to eclipse given 400X that in wagers.
We wanted to allow investors to choose their risk level and tolerance, but until we allow players to play against multiple edges and also add some other provisions, we are now capping the investment level at 99.0 as the highest edge.
We have also already added even more safeguards such as not allowing extreme low payouts like 1.0001X which in volume can also effect a smaller bankroll.
