Possible yes. But one GPU will get you nowhere.

I think minimum value fo solo mining xmr is 20 X rx480, because if you have "no luck issue" it will be wasting time job.

Am thinking to make a script to have a permanent campaign for paying pool fees to the people, but lets focus first on getting some miners there ;-)

Guys my has power is 4150 h/s 6x480 nitro 8 gb .. how i can mining solo at linux i try find instruction at windows but i cant .. so i be try mining in linux .. but how to start ?

you'd need to set up a pool software or some kind of stratum to monerod proxy. with this hashrate I would recommend against solomining. better get some low-fee pool. you can find a list at http://moneropools.com

Hello everyone!

I'm the co-owner of usxmrpool.com, the first (we think) pool on the US West Coast. We're in Seattle so miners in western Canada will have a good ping time too.

We are ready for the next hard fork.

We were a bit lucky to find out first block yesterday, after 2.5 days only.

Our fees are currently at 1.2%, and we really hope to lower them as soon our fees are covered. Our minimum payout is 0.3 XMR with a domination unit of 0.01 XMR.

Yes but mining solo if i find block i ern 10 12 monero monets. if i mining with pool i ern 0.0012 ... i can find block at day/week/mont or hour !

where i find some instruction how to set up all ?

Hey guys! A little report from https://www.usxmrpool.com.

We've been online for 6 days now, and have found two blocks: one before, and one after the fork. All payments went smoothly and we're very happy with that.

We were lucky enough to have a guy with a 35 KH/s rig give us a hand, but he's gone mining somewhere else now (probably helping some other small pool).

Spreading hashing power over many pools is very important for the Monero ecosystem, and to help find new miners ready to try our pool, we decided to lower our fees to 0.4%, just to cover payment transaction fees. If you're mining on the USA or Canada West Coast, please give us a try. We've got excellent ping times from British-Columbia to southern California.

In any case: think about trying a small pool near you. Thanks for reading!
