Why are people still keeping coins on the exchanges?  Its like no one ever learns from the past?  A broken record keeps skipping and playing the same verse over and over again.  Obviously we couldn't remove our Crypti so not pointing fingers at any of us, but the NXTers should know Bter.  I'm a big NXT fan and now wasn't the time to be selling anyway, do feel bad for their losses but hopefully they won't leave crypto on an exchange.  Everyone has to realize that 24/7 someone is trying to steal coins off the exchange you have your coins at right now.  Its a guarantee.  

I belive if they make it right Bter will survive... There was atacks on Poloniex and other exchanges but they survived them...

Given the speed at which this whole situation is being resolved, if the Crypti devs prep their new package to be delivered to BTER, within a reasonable amount of time after the resolution we could have a new genesis and BTER can do their final test.

Soon enough it will be business as usual. Additionally this time could be used to work on the wallet as I'm sure many Crypti adopters are anxiously waiting to withdraw from BTER.

They did not have two factor authentication securing a server. That was how the hacker got in.

The good news is that we know the attack vector was relatively primitive. Other funds and coins on deposit at BTER should be safe. The only risk I foresee to BTER as an exchange is if their capital reserves are inadequate to cover mass withdrawals of BTC or are inadequate to cover them for losses arising from the NXT heist. I think their capital reserves are relatively low and therefore hope they can negotiate their way out of it. Big love.
