I am very disappointed to report that Fairlay can not be taken seriously and appears to be rigged. It seems their market maker can cancel wagers after the fact with absolutely no repercussion or any way to stop them from doing so.

This has now happened countless times to people I know. This is a fact at this point in time. Be very careful going forward or alternatively just use a solid betfair agent if you do not have access to a real exchange.

Again, until Fairlay has a real exchange model in place and is in a position to make demands of participating Market Makers do not risk any type of significant money there.

Why isn't Fillon on the French Presidential election prediction market?

We will probably add 2 factor authentication, but do not prioritize it right now. For a p2p exchange 2FA does not offer much more security than a good password. This is because we cannot ask for additional authentication before each bet.  If your machine is compromised, your money is likely to be gone in any case.

The only absolute secure solution is to do all the betting via our API, where all requests have to be signed by your private key.

Also, we already have some kind of 2FA.  Every withdrawal address and payment has to be confirmed by email by default.  

@FairlaySupport I got the problem Btc2usd described earlier. On 8 December i made a 0.05btc "taker" wager "against 300-319" at https://www.fairlay.com/market/how-many-electoral-college-votes-will-be-cast-for-the-winner-of-the-2016-presidential-election/ market. And now i do not see it in my https://fairlay.com/user/predictions/?filter=matched&page=1 list.

It is funny how these newbies are trying to stir up commotion and always try to ruin a reputation of a legit site. They offer no proof to help their case whatsoever, just stupid statement and some lies and have only 2 post on the forum.

We have no record of any matched bet from you on December 8th.  Are you sure you saw the green confirmation message, that your bet was fully matched?   We think, it's likely that your bet could not be matched. In such a case we do not save a record of the failed taker bet.

It's almost impossible that matched bets go missing as we store this kind of data on multiple servers.

Glad to see that switching between Percentage and Decimal odds doesn't trigger a page refresh anymore

Is it free to create markets? Would I get the security deposit refunded after finished event?

The security deposit will be returned to you automatically when the market is resolved.
