From what I know.. I think they are going to develop the coin into a more commercialized sense.. e.g. hotels, restaurants etc... hence why he called it CheckCoin, and checkpoints, check meaning to check into a location.. apparently this means to check into a location get coins.. guess it'll make sense to you guys more than me.. seems a pretty vague sense of wording to me.
I get what your saying, i read the "about us" page on
www.checkcoin.cc and bitsend.nl and it seems that bitsend spends most of the time convicing companies to accept nd use bitcoin. checkcoin does seem like the right name if that is one of the goals. for private use, i can live with checkcoin as long as they get the geo faucet system to work im happy.
the whole concept looks alot like foursquare and pinterest (place pins), if they manage to get a simular system up and running with crypto rewards that would be awesome.
