Keep in mind that to proof of stake well you also have to keep in mind the size of the blocks of coins within your wallet as well as the PoS difficulty. A block of 100 coins would have a better chance of staking than 10 blocks of 10 coins depending on the PoS difficulty. Turn on coin control in the options settings and make sure the coin blocks within your wallet are a reasonable size. I try to keep mine between 1000 - 2000 in size.
I don't see anything for coin control in the SLG wallet. 1.4??
Settings>Options>Display>Display coin control features (experts only!)
ha, I seriously looked a few times for it. Thanks!
I do not assume that you don't know how to use the coin control feature for wallet block management but for anyone else who is curious on how to do so should follow these steps:
1. Enable it via the option menu.
2. Go to the "Send Coins" section of your wallet and click "Inputs".
3. Check box the coin blocks you wish to manage and then press "OK".
4. From the "Send Coins" section input your wallet address from the "Receive Coins" Section. You will indeed be sending coins to yourself to create the new block.
5. Input the amount of coins you want to the new block to be and press "Send" when you are ready.
6. You will receive a message that you have made a payment to yourself. Return to the "Inputs" section and you will see the new block with 0 confirmations.
A very simple procedure to do. Make sure to keep an eye on your coin blocks that they don't stay too small for too long. If you don't manage your coin blocks you can end up wasting time or getting less payouts than you could otherwise. If you have been using the SLG faucet extensively and have many very small deposits those small blocks are not going to be of value for staking until you combine them into bigger blocks.
Let me know if you need any more help.
