I am generating plot with these parameters:
Machine is 4 x R9 280X (but only 2 are generating, no need for more because of HDD speed) + 8Gb ram.

Dedicated mining machine will be 8 or 16 Gb ram, 8 hdd (32Tb total).

Wrong. They are absolutely linked to the price of Bitcoin. You are just witnessing pump n dumps by Bobsurplus, IconicExpert and the like.

They are doing the same thing with SWIFT at the moment.

Don't go thinking any of these rises are genuine - not with a dying bitcoin, it's just not.

BTC goes up - all worthwhile Alt's go up. BTC goes down - all worthwhile alts go down and the scammer and pump groups try and reduce their loses by organizing pump n dumps of coins that have been off the radar for a while - where it is easy to buy huge amounts cheaply (as the walls have built up) - so they can get suckers to buy for 70% more than it was worth yesterday and then dump their loads.

Sell every coin you have that shows a 70% or greater price jump - don't get greedy or you will end up with nothing when the pumpers leave.

People could we have a dedicated thread for mining related posts only? Investors and new people who want to buy coming to this thread and only see about mining. If nobody buy your coin then what's the point of mining ? We need to discuss more how to expand the coin, not focusing on mining only.

The only reason I trust BURST is because its genuine innovation (In PoC) with a responsive dev and a good supportive community. Genuine innovation always wins in the land of the copycats and con artists. You can fake a lot of things, but the first mover advantage is the real deal.

I know my brother, been in this game since October 2013 and Ive lost more money to pump n dump scams than I ever thought possible - BC, MINT, KEY, QTL, SDC, LXC - all pumped n dumped. They have gotten better and better at what they do to the point where they will have most honestly believing that they are helping them and will make them money. Not the case unfortunately, you either get in and out and make a few dollars, or you get burnt HARD and then you see that their twitter feeds suddenly stop tweeting about that coin and they have all moved on to hyping up another.

Even KARMA coin - probably the coin most thought had the most trustworthy community - ended up getting fucked. Now those poor folk are left holding a bag of coins worth nothing (or close to nothing for those who bought at 300+ litoshi on the bullshit Lill.com hype).
