how much time (deadline) need for find block in 2Tb HDD?
thats hard to say. based on my numbers 2 tb should find a block every 18 hours but there is also luck involved.
if i adjust my martingale calculation for dice betting and use the network growth instead of bet multipliers you have to increase your 2 tb every 18 hours by factor 1.2 (400 mb first time) to maintain the 18 hours. the complex part is to predict how fast the network grows.
if i break this down to 1 tb plots it results in this table:
(1 round is 36 hours, based on estimated 500tb mining network plots during last 24h; grow rate 20 % every 36h )
round01 1.0 tb 36h .5 pb
round02 1.2 tb 3 days .6 pb
round03 1.44 tb 4.5 days .72 pb
round04 1.728 tb 6 days .864 pb
round05 1. tb 7.5 days 1.0368 pb
round06 2.0736 tb 9 days 1.24416 pb
round07 2.48832 tb 10.5 days 1.492992 pb
round08 2.985984 tb 12 days 1.7915904 pb
round09 3.5831808 tb 13.5 days 2.14990848 pb
round10 4.29981696 tb 15 days 2.579890176 pb
if you want to find more blocks than in the last round you have to increase your plotfiles faster than the network grows.
the nice thing about burst is that diskspace can be added almost instantly but computing the plotfiles requires much more time which results over time in a smaller grow rate cause most people have more limited compute resources than diskspace.
if you look into the numbers how much you have to increase your plots to maintain the same block finding rate you see that the 36h may at some point become too much workload to compute on the resources you have available within the rounds timeframe.
