Cool. I was waiting a long time for this to finally happen. After the warning message: "Checkpoint is too old", I was just eager for this issue to be solved. Luckily, this won't be an issue in the new wallet. A new GUI would make the wallet look awesome, but I guess it is too much work for the devs. Anyways, can't wait for it and also the price of XMG to increase a little. 

Great. That means that we will be getting to see POI IV after all. Being on the previous POI 3 myself, I would say that it is a great way to earn interest better than banks do. I will be getting my XMG ready for this. Bring it on.

Or what about a more recent fork of the Bitcoin Core with BIP 32 - Hierarchical Deterministic Wallets,
BIP 38 - Passphrase-protected Private Key and BIP 100 - Floating block size hard limit.
Something like the new wallet of the NAV coin.

It's my desire, maybe your dream but hopefully Joe's vision.
