Ack, just found out that cpuminer-multi doesn't work with Magi. cpuminer-opt specifically added m7m to it's list after the fact.

any one know why i cant solo mine? i got it working on my windows machine  but my linux desk top it well not work no matter what setting i use i got the firewall set fot port 3232  got it port forwards and all i get is

been using "m-minerd" on my 4 rpi's and my desktop since the split on the test wallet and block chain.

Not a single solo block mined in that time! (not a single block ever in solo i might add but only solo'd for a few days!)

Now in the past 2 hours I've already found 3 blocks on my desktop running at 52khs

That's me with an extra 3.6XMG in my test wallet.

it's just a pity it doesn't compile in ARM based cpus

Joe, what is the final state for testnet in order to recognize that everything works as it should?

Sounds like they dropped Magi because of issues after the split caused by Vit.

That's what I love about running Linux as my main daily box. can jump in using ssh on my phone from anywhere and keep things running smoothly

If you really want to go down the path of solo mining, I'd recommend cpuminer-opt if your Dell Server (if that's what it really is) supports at least SSE2, AVX and AES on it's cpu(s). You can easily determine this with sudo lshw -class CPU.

Actually, I misread the GitHub for the program. As long as the system running it is 64-bits and supports SSE2 (which your system checks both those boxes), then you can compile the program and run it. Lines 50 to 84 of the release notes (found here: https://github.com/JayDDee/cpuminer-opt/blob/master/RELEASE_NOTES#L50) explain how to compile the program on Linux, but if you're willing to wait a little bit, I'll be writing a better, human-readable version of these lines.

It may be a little bit of work to get it running, but the increased hashrate will be well worth it in my eyes.
