You should not expect much development to be totally honest, but from my perspective there isn't development necessary.  This coin works really well and chain has been running for almost three years.  What would you propose be changed?   From my perspective what Acoin can teach the world is that this technology is almost unstoppable.  Our bitcoin world is like The Hydra with its many heads and although ACOIN is a very small part of that beast I believe it is a good example of the power and resilience that blockchain technology has over traditional monetary systems for those that can see beyond the normal hype cycles.
