I have put a little personal money into the release of this coin, Just to show IPO is dubious, A coin does not cost 10-20 BTC to release.

On the serface, yes you are right, But there are a few factors that people seam to like about this coin, Firstly as I mentioned, I don't hold any percentage of the coin, I will be mining along side everyone else, To further that point I am not placing a value on it as I have none to sell, So the value will be user defined 

Second, I wanted to try and ASIC proof this for a while, There is value in something everyone can mine.

These are the big two things worth pointing out right now.
