A bit of a stretch to use the word "involved" but yeah, marketing creates hype.

I guess all the celebs who had naked pictures of theirs stolen are also involved in Bitcoin because the thief wanted donations in bitcoin. Spread the word.

If Apple include Bitcoin transactions with their rumoured payment plans then its a totally different thing and will apologise.

In the same token, if you can pay Google for services in Bitcoin and receive bitcoins from Google then I also apologise.

If IBM allow you to pay for services then I also apologise, and ditto for Microsoft.

Microsoft researches do do research on Bitcoin.  The one on pool payment schemes comes to mind.

This does not show how these brands are 'involved' with bitcoin. Just because they are allowing certain apps and such on their stores or websites does not mean in my eyes at least that they are involved with bitcoin.

At least it shows that BTC is paid attention by all the four big companies.

These brands get themselves involved as their users(people) get involved onto it.

They havent. Op is just using that image of the top brands and it's the top 4 have mentioned bitcoin is some way. The rest havent.

IBM getting involved is not for 'freedom' use, but due to the fact they are partners of the police intelligence in the UK
google getting involved is not for 'freedom' use, but due to the fact they are partners of the NSA/CIA in the US
microsoft getting involved is not for 'freedom' use, but due to the fact they are partners of the NSA/CIA in the US

Of course big companies involve them into what people AKA their users involve into
