Hopefully you checked with them first, they shouldn't have to choose between rearranging their schedule and finishing a tournament that was scheduled to finish on another day.  (just distribute the prizepool based on chip counts, trust me - its the only fair option...unless they all agree on a time)

Also, if players were stranded in a paused tournament for 10+ hours, and your response is that you're "diligently working 24/7 to address your issue", it's probably not a good idea to later claim it was a "minor technical problem"

What about players time? Even in India it cost >1$/h.
Minor? Without any support or whatever for >9 hours.  And you are not even talking about compensating your own player for your own fault.

Completely agree on this. If anyone of the has agreed with a replay it's ok otherwise chipcount based refund is the only fair way.

Does the poker work off Java? For some reason I can not get it going in chrome and suspect its because they do not support java. Works on Firefox on my mac which is old.

It does and you need to unblock the javascript in your chrome first, sometimes people mistakenly took it as that the site does not support in java because they have javascript blocker . Playing with chrome should give you much better experiences of playing poker rather than playing with mozilla
