i believe the ipad does have a "number" attached to it even though it's just data
I need to do some research. If you can fund your ipad 3G account by Verizon prepaid PIN codes then it likely will work. If it is prepaid but can only be paid by credit card then it won't work.
looks like that's a no then. seems it is credit card only unless there is a way to have Verizon do it manually
add another vote to push for Straighttalk though. have a family member i'd buy for and have quite a few friends using it i'd help get bitcoins
