Wow, the 2015 Kialara is amazing! You bring such unique works of art to the physical Bitcoin market, and come at it from a completely different angle than all others. I still need to get the 2014 model, I'm really falling behind now!
My question is for these, say worst comes to worst and someone wants to open the wallet that is attached to these coins, how do they do it? It seems like these are impossible to open entirely. I think these are beautiful but lets all remember the actual functionality too. Can someone explain how someone could go about opening it without completely destroying it?
I would say if you plan on pulling the 0.10 BTC from it in the future, then to not fund the coin in the first place. I don't think these are really designed to be "opened" down the road. Just like I wouldn't open a Casascius coin though basically, because the unopened coin will always be worth more. If I had a funded Kialara coin that I wanted to spend the Bitcoin from, I think I would just sell/trade the funded coin for a higher value than 0.10 BTC, rather than just destroying it to get the 0.10. Just my opinion though, and I've been pretty sick the past few days so I feel a bit off & like I'm rambling.
