Theoretically, what would happen if everyone tried to sell their stocks in every other company in the world and simply try to buy Apple stock because of it's performance?  What would happen to the stock market?  What would happen to all those sell orders that couldn't be fulfilled because everyone is trying to sell?  Since no one is buying your GE stock because they want to buy Apple... what happens to the money?

Zero sum means there's a constraint on the game such that all gains are offset by equal losses. If someone gains X, another person loses X, and X + -X = 0.

Here, there's no such constraint. The stock market has been zero-sum for specific lengths of time in the past, but it doesn't have to be. In practice, it's not overall. Because economies grow and people become more productive, the value of the stock market grows over time.

In practice, there are going to be winners and losers, but there's no constraint saying that has to happen. In fact, there's more won than lost in the stock market overall, so it's not zero-sum. The sum is greater than zero.

They are actually giving away $10.  $5 worth of Genesis to the new user, and 500 hashpoints to the referrer.

There is no $5 worth of Genesis because you can't sell the gift. There value of hashpoints is also debatable, besides you only get the 500 points if the new user buys something (the gift doesn't count). So the real gain here is much smaller - the tiny daily payout from the gifted Genesis, plus the ability to essentially purchase 500 hashpoints for about $0.50 (Market fees if you buy the cheapest hashlet and then resell it).

Edit: 500 hashpoints may become $25 if you believe in the PayCoin, so maybe that's what's driving the new accounts. $0.50 bet to win $25, I can see some people taking that.

tl;dr: Hashpoints will be exchanged to PayCoins on ZenCloud within the next 2-4 weeks, but this will be just a number on the site. Actual PayCoin will "hit the blockchain" at the very end of the ICO, which doesn't have a firm date, but should happen in December. And it will be tradeable to BTC/fiat and accepted by many merchants "shortly after".

Noticed one more thing... if you go to hashcoin.com it redirects to paycoin.com and there is no timeline chart or any other ICO information, just the unfinished white paper. Hold on to your hashpoints, this might take a bit longer than expected.

What do you guys think about new features for the Hashlet Prime?

Currently, they don't make much money.. even with the double-dip feature. So, new features should be added to earn atleast as much money as it's worth now, or you'll have to wait for a long long long time if GAW proves to be profitable (forever).

Maybe this got missed in the troll fest that went on for a few pages, but does anyone know the answer to my questions?
