I have read parts of this thread and have followed Gaw for a few months.  Mostly I have purchased physical miners from them for resell purposes, and I am looking forward to what I was told would be "hot" prices eventually on oneminer.com.

I pointed a th/s at the gaw run pool for sh!ts and giggles and while yes I mined more paycoin at current rates than btc I am still owed about 1 coin from that pool before it "officially" shut down.

I've read some stuff at HT and a lot of the ceo's quotes.  Seems to me that:

1. Garza is one of the main investors that took part in the pre-mine, and that the non profit may very well be either a church and/or a way for Gaw/Josh to get a tax break on profits from Hashstakers.

I believe I read on HT that the money brought in from hashstakers would be used to purchase paycoins from investors to pay out the coins owed from hashpoint mining.

2. If the above is true then the early investors including garza and the non-profit will be guaranteed a "profit" of about $1.50 per coin if the buy in price was around the $2.50 range floated.  Gaw can also probably write off the portion paid to the non profit and mitigate any current and future taxes from the hashstakers and btc earnings during the hashpoint mining phase.

On the Gaw website I see the Hashstakers going from $11.95 to $19.99 per coin staked and amount of time.  

3. At a minimum of  $7.95 per coin staked profit ($4 per coin paid from gaw to early investors minus $11.95 paid from purchase of hashstaker per coin) gaw can fund the Hashstakers for quite a while.  Like I read in this thread payments will be made in paycoin so Gaw can sit on the cash and pay out what they "mined" in the POW phase and keep that USD delta, along with any physical mining power that was converted to Hashstakers using of course real USD or BTC.  Gaw can also "stake" it's own coins to pay investors with.

It's entirely possible that the "buy wall" will be created from a portion of the transfer of wealth from Gaw to early investors while still allowing them a tidy profit to exit with.  This plus a market for Hashstakers where gaw takes 5% on each end in USD/BTC means they should be able to sustain the model for a while.

4. Since the early private investors have already made a profit, it is entirely possible that each "group" agreed to "put in" 125,000 pay coins for a "prime controller" node.  I could be wrong but I don't see how I couldn't dev a coin, buy some servers/bandwidth and "donate" to a CAF for said coin with a few hundred USD, and by POW be paid back my initial investment, plus 67% profit, and also have the chance to reap future rewards of transactions fee's and the off chance the coin makes it.  Any fees should pay for upkeep/upgrades on prime controller nodes.

I hate to say it but I think this may take a while to unwind and that prosecution may have a tough case as some aspects fit the ponzi model to a T and yet it has enough wiggle room to let the main players have an exit if it can't be pulled off.  I mean come on how many early tech adopter companies fail?  And Gaw can declare banktruptcy and the coin, paybase, and other compelling aspects can live on.  Leaving the people who believed most holding a bag while others profit.

Who I think will profit the most are Garza, and his "initial" private investors, followed by early backers who have sold or will be selling to new investors, and whoever buys/steals the ideas and marketing that got everyone here.  

I do it in my unique way and I seem to have some immunity. Sad. but its whatever. 

However I don't ask questions for the sake of it to cause problems, or go over stuff that has been talked to death, nor give strong opinions, like the moron that came on just to post his amended TOS, that was dumb.
