So we are preparing a pre-release for you, to be published tomorrow (25.7. at 20.00 Berlin time)
It will have most of all features except the VPOS.
Let me also use this opportunity to say thank you to our engaged developer, for the extra effort.

what will be new:

1) we removed the fake VPOS and optimized the current staking engine.
you will see it using 75% less memory and run much faster.
(New real VPOS is done and will replace it after the testperiod.)

2) removed unsecure IRC requests and replaced them by hardcoded Bitnodes
(thanks to bitnodes.net and our donors)

3) excessive cleanup of senseless code from endless forks (nearly one third of the original filesize)
as well, as tons of fixes: Those who compile Europecoin from source, will not even see a warning

4) all the features, i described and promised here:

We proudly present the Europecoin V2 pre-release

I am quite excited and would be happy about some comments and reviews.

I hope i don't have to remind anybody to make a BACKUP, before installing.

For those, who compile from source (Linux):

1) watch your compiler and praise our DEV
2) backup the COMPLETE .europecoin folder,
the DB is a new version and for easy roll back, you should have the old one

comments, ecstatic tweets and excessive buy-walls are welcome

after 4000 confirmations, the wallet begins to stake...I really dont need CPU-usage for this excellent wallet...

Europecoin has just become interesting enough to 100% self-sustain trading volume on two high-volume exchanges.
That phase is mostly shaken by massive pump and dump trading. An experience, that every emerging altcoin has to survive
and this one will for sure, because we are just at the beginning of our rooadmap and we have (as the new wallet proves)
one of the most skilled developers on board.

I think this is normal...now the old holders sell their coins because they see a chance now, to make some gains...But hey...this is not bad...always in cryptoworld is VOLUME VOLUME and VOLUME...:-D

Thank you for your kind words, they matter more to me than any price.

These dumps haven't any special reason:
If a coin is getting some attention, traders jump in and kick it around for a wile.
Its a phase that nearly every altcoin has to survive.
Don't worry ,they are getting bored after a while and then go somewhere else.

The is only one tactic for me is, to ignore it and to concentrate on my road-map, to get some work done.

And as long as there is some volume, I am not concerned , because trade in the long-run is ALWAYS growth.

For example if all traders that are currently dumping various coins, would stay home tomorrow,
THEN we would have a much bigger problem. Prices go up and down and its an illusion to assume, that the traders are to blame.
They are part of our ecosystem and a coin has a long way to go and mature.

Altcoins are made to survive pumps and dumps without problems.
COINS can handle that - MAINTAINERS sometimes not.
