Though, yes, this reminds a life after death - just the chain moves and someone is trading it on the last exchange, probably hoping for something. I have to give you credits though - you were the last dev to leave the ship.

It depends on your definition of 'alive'. It is still traded at Yobit - with wallet being working and online, which is pretty unusual for Yobit. Not sure about other exchanges.

I checked this, and it looks like the default name for the config file is eags.conf instead of eagscurrency.conf. Try to rename the file and restart the wallet.

Sure, you can stake them - the code and chain itself is brilliant, so it would stake great, if you like to stake useless stuff

As I know YoBit don't turn off wallets deliberately. Wallets are updated automatically from Github. I suspect that wallet can go offline down because of errors during updating.
