The constantly tanking BTC price is first and foremost due to anemic trading volume and microscopic buying interest. So, it has been a sitting duck for short sellers. But of course you see every excuse imaginable to avoid identifying this elementary market concept. The favorite among clueless experts around here has to be that BTC acceptance by major retailers and the publicity and interest it brings will lead to even more decline. It´s really amazing. Those morons have been broadcasting this poppycock for a year now while BTC has been cratering and there´s no letup. Grin

I would imagine they'd roll them out in the stores that have a kiosk that allow you to order on a touch screen. That is just a matter of using BitPay and tweaking a few lines of code.

Since the stock has been going flat chances are excellent that they´ve been looking at ways to boost sales and accepting bitcoin is probably one of those ways. It´s not the only way. People who run big corporations are usually free of this terrible generalizations disease that is so prevalent in society.

I don't think that this is possible as Mcdonals can easily accept real cash and bitcoin is like gambling almost where the price keeps fluctuating and it will be a loss for them if they do accept but will be a benefit for the people who want to use their bitcoins though.

Sadly it is already close and it still didn't skyrocket the value, atleast 30% of world population (don't involve 3rd world countries) already have heard of bitcoin.
