You don't want to stake your address?
In that case, nothing happens... Staking your address is 100% up to you. BUT, when you stake your address, and it gets quoted in this thread, you have "some" protection agains hackers (since you'll have a chance of getting your account restored in case it's hacked) AND you have a better way to prove your account wasn't hacked/stolen in case you want to do some business.
