Unfortunately when we get into these low single digit sat amounts it will go down hill real fast. You lose 50% of your stash value when it goes from 2 sats to 1 sats. Even the amazing high interest rates and compounding won't help you recover from that very soon and by the time you double your coins again you'll have to sell them on the DOGE/SPRTS market.

Sprouts had an amazing run for a coin which only attraction was the hi-POS and staking every 5 days. I made a very handsome amount of money staking/trading/selling SPRTS and I remember buying coins from people at BCT who mined them when they weren't even for sale on the exchanges yet. I never forget when SPRTS finally was listed on Cryptsy and when one sprout would fetch 600 sats at one point in time. For months we were able to sell SPRTS between 250 and 450 sats. And even at the 50 to 100 Sats level there was plenty of money to be made.It was a gold mine, best investment for me in 2015 and beginning of 2016. And for that I thank SPRTS and whoever created (cloned) it from peercoin.  But unfortunately free money doesn't last forever. So I'm exiting this month and releasing the last of my SPRTS into the world. Adieu old friend!  

Right, and that is why I exit slowly to optimize the gains...  dumping a huge amount all at once is rarely the best thing to do unless you need BTC right away for another investment opportunity with a time window closing soon. Biggest amount I sold all at once was 26M and that was because of the aforementioned reason. The rest will be sold off gradually, spread out over a few weeks max.

I would say the end of cryptsy was what hurt the price of sprouts but it has shown its resilience in a hurt market and even when BTC went up in value dramatically we did not die out. I think Sprouts has a lot of room to grow. I would like to get community opinion on 2 ideas. A)Reducing of APR and/or B) Increase movement of PoS difficulty level. I think these would help the coin overall and would make it so we will be able to work on more meaningful projects in the future. Sprouts has already shown how dramatic it can be in a unpredictable enviroment.. lets help bring on the next stage

It's not about the price in sats... Last time it was 400 it was not even twice the actual market cap. 6 sats now is beating 400 sats then.

2.5% every 5 days is 6X the supply in a year
3.5% every 5 days is 12X the supply in a year.

So everything inbetween must be good.

I think that the decline in the village at around 500% APR is acceptable and attractive for investment.

Only this should be done not only in the language grind  

Today, I applied to yobit for Sprouts.

I have no faith in yobit and I also do not recommend anyone ever uses that exchange. There are several coins that they are damaging because they refuse to update code.

I agree, yobit isn't the most trustworthy (and that's an understatement), especially recently with these IOUs they've been selling for Lisk and now for Waves.
